As a stage manager I have worked at several large venues, festivals and tours including E:Merge Festival, Eco Fest, The Big Indoors, Evolution, The Assembly Halls and the Winding Wheel in Chesterfield and as part of the DIY and GIT IT Tour’s put on annually an opportunity for young bands in Derbyshire which I have worked on for several years.
I am quick, efficient, professional and a strong communicator. My skills and experience across the board as a musician and a live sound engineer enable me to be a valuable addition to any team – helping to keep a show running to schedule at all times.
I understand the importance of keeping large events running smoothly. I am able to liaise technical details of acts to the sound crew and help them rig the stage for bands. I can help artists set any and all gear they will have brought for their performance as well as perform minor repairs or even tune drums and instruments as necessary. I don’t stop working until the event has finished, and even then I’m always on hand to help everyone pack up their gear.
